The Women & Children’s Center at Kingwood Medical Center has taken a giant step towards improving the health of newborns and infants by earning the Texas Ten Step Program facility designation from the Texas Department of State Health Services. The Texas Ten Step Program encourages breastfeeding as the preferred method of feeding for newborns and infants.
New Firefly Technology Lights-up Robotic-assisted Endometriosis Surgery at Kingwood Medical Center, A ‘First’ in the Houston Area

Patients treated at Kingwood Medical Center, an HCA Affiliated Hospital, now have a new, distinct advantage beginning with the first endometriosis robotic-assisted surgery of its kind in the Houston area. In November, Jennifer Browning, MD, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, at Kingwood Medical Center utilized the da Vinci Robot outfitted with Firefly fluorescence imaging to cure the chronic pelvic pain of patient Molly Gundrum.
