Aneurysm/Stroke Survivors & Loved Ones Support Group – “STARS”

We invite you to join STARS, our community centered support group for aneurysm/stroke survivors and their loved ones. STARS meets on the 3rd Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Kingwood Room. There is no fee to attend. Breast Cancer Support Group – “HOPE”

Our mission is to create and sustain a supportive network and community of those affected by breast cancer, and enable participants to receive and exchange information, support, strength and Hope. Breastfeeding Support Group

This is a support group led by a Kingwood Medical Center Lactation specialist to support postpartum patients who are breastfeeding. Breast Pump Support

We are "Pumping Up our Support" for NICU mothers, working mothers, and exclusively pumping mothers.  If you need support when using your breast pump, returning to work, or other needs related to breast pumping and feeding, please join our certified lactation consultants and IBCLCs the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.  You can bring your pump, baby and questions.  South Tower Classroom 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

Lactation Support Services

Our team includes International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), nurses and educators with specialty experience in all areas of lactation. From prenatal classes or consultations to your hospital stay to the weeks and months beyond our staff can assist and support your family’s feeding goals.

La Leche League

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who choose to breastfeed. For more information, please visit

La Leche League meets at Kingwood Medical Center on the first Thursday of the Month at 10:00 a.m. and the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. No registration required

Lupus Support Group

The Lupus Support Group meets every other month on the second Monday of the month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 pm. There is no cost to attend. Mended Hearts - Heart Patients & Caregivers Support Group

A unique support group for heart patients, their families and caregivers. Mended Hearts partners with hospitals and rehabilitation clinics to help those affected by heart disease have a positive patient-care experience. NICU Support Group – “Helping Hands”

A support group for parents & caregivers of Neonatal Intensive Care Babies. Providing a forum to interact, bond, support, celebrate and to share experiences on their NICU Journey. Helping Hands support group meets the second Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the South Tower Classroom, which is located on the first floor of the Women and Children’s Center.
