Diagnostics and treatments we provide

More than 70 million Americans suffer from some kind of sleep disorder. With advanced technology at our experts' hands, together we can accurately analyze your symptoms and patterns to determine the best treatment solution. All rooms are private and equipped with a bathroom, personal phone, television, adjustable lighting and individual climate control.

A sleep study, also known as polysomnography (PSG), is a way for our sleep medicine specialists to diagnose sleep disorders. During the study, a sleep medicine physician measures sleep cycles and stages by observing your breathing, blood oxygen level, heart rate and arm/leg movements as you sleep. To diagnose and treat sleep disorders, we use a variety of sleep studies and treatment methods, including:

  • In-lab sleep study
  • Maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT)
  • Multiple sleep latency test (MSLT)
  • Sleep study with positive airway pressure treatment

Your primary care physician can refer you to the Sleep Center of Excellence for a comprehensive consultation. Physician referrals can be made by calling (281) 348-8281.
