Our facility provides the closest full-service care in northeast Houston. Last year, we provided care to 70,000 children and adult patients. Our ER is open 24/7, 365 days a year, to provide immediate care.
Board-certified ER physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and emergency care technicians work as a team to ensure we deliver the highest quality care in the most efficient manner.

Pediatric ER at Kingwood Medical Center
The Pediatric Emergency Room is open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight daily. As of April 1 it will be open 24/7 We are located at the south entrance next to the Women & Children’s Center. If you have a pediatric emergency after hours, please go to our main ER, which is open 24/7 and located at the north end of campus.
When your child is in need of immediate medical care, every second counts. That’s why Kingwood Medical Center’s Pediatric ER, next to our Women & Children’s Center, is good to have close to home. We’re the area’s only full-service pediatric ER.
Our facility features a child-themed environment intended to ease the stress of pediatric patients and their parents. Our team includes pediatricians ER physicians and specialists, as well as registered nurses skilled in communicating with and caring for children.
Whether your child is experiencing a minor illness or needs life-saving treatment, we will provide prompt and personalized care in a safe, comfortable and child-friendly environment.
If your child needs to be admitted to the hospital, the transition to our Pediatric Specialty Unit is seamless.
We offer an on-site, full-service lab and advanced imaging department to obtain emergency test results as quickly as possible.
