Dan Davis Joins Kingwood Medical Center As Chief Financial Officer

Houston, TX, July 18, 2012— HCA affiliated Kingwood Medical Center Chief Executive Officer, Melinda Stephenson announced that Dan Davis has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Kingwood Medical Center (KMC).  Davis comes to KMC from HCA affiliated Rapides Healthcare System in Alexandria, Louisiana where he has served as Senior Vice President and CFO for the past six years. During Davis’s twenty-six years career, his experience includes seventeen years at the CFO level, with fifteen of those years in leadership positions with HCA facilities.

Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from South Nazarene University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Davis is an affiliate of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He serves on the Louisiana Healthcare Association CFO Expert Panel and has been a member of the Texas Governor’s Task Force for Medicaid.“We look forward to welcoming Dan and his family back to Houston,” said Stephenson. “He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be critical to the continued growth of Kingwood Medical Center. 

Davis will transition into his new role in August succeeding Bryan Lee, who was recently promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer at HCA affiliated Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas
