The Center for Wound Care works to improve the quality of life for all patients by aggressively managing wounds to ensure they heal quickly and completely.

Kingwood Medical Center Hosts Heart Healthy Ladies’ Night

On the final day of American Heart Month, Kingwood Medical Center hosted a “heart healthy” seminar complete with red wine and dark chocolate for women of Kingwood. Speaking to a packed room of over 70 women, cardiologist Natasha Iliskovic-Holley, M.D., PH.D., and cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon Stephen Maniscalco, M.D., shared ways to keep hearts fit, which included exercising, eating a diet low in fat and enjoying indulgences such as red wine and chocolate in moderation.
